Belated Father's Day Posting

So here is Stephanie's card to my husband. He grills all year long, and he IS the cook of the house so we are talking pretty frequent here! So how appropriate is the card?!?!? Stephanie and Ryan learned the tri-fold card, and went crazy making cards for their dads, grandpas and for my Bob, Steph's step-father (since age 5 - long time).

Ah, then here is the picture of Steph and Bob outside the theater in NYC where Stephanie took us BOTH (yippee!) to see the show "Jersey Boys". My DH grew up in Montclair NJ , and is Sicilian, so the show was very apropos. Ahhhh, the music was SOOO GOOD! What a wonderful evening we had. Dinner out and a show. Life is good! You have no idea how wonderful it is to go to NYC and not have one doctor appointment or medical test! Here's hoping that lasts for a long time!!

So somehow, Stephanie has this thing for staying after at the stage door. Now where on earth did she get that from?!?!?! (wink* wink*) This is the lead singer who was Frankie Valli. She got almost everyone's autograph in her program. We got more pics, but unfortunately they are blurry. So this is all you get! LOL Enjoy!!

Christmas in July?!?!?

So here are two gift bags that contained gifts from a hubby to a wifey for Christmas. Part of my services include gift wrapping of holiday, birthday or special events. So - don't want a new vacuum or blender for a gift from your sweetheart? Give him/her a Stampin' Up! Wish list and tell him/her to contact me! Consider it done! Lookie what you could receive!!! I don't know about you, but these days, the wrapping excites me as much as the gift! LOL It's all in the presentation! So get that Wish list going from our new 2010 -2011 catalog - and hook me up!! You'll be glad you did! LOL

There were more gifts that I had wrapped, and here is a link to two other gifts for the same person. Kris' gifts. This was one of the most fun days of my holidays! I love to make other people feel good and I KNEW how much it would mean to Kris to have such fun, fab gifts to open! And I knew Peter would be happy giving such gifts! I LOVE when a plan comes together!

So if you would like to have gifts WONDERFULLY wrapped for a holiday or a birthday or other special event, give your wish list to your honey and have him/her email or call me - leave the rest up to us!!

For my sweetie pie!

So here is Bob's Valentine's Day card and Happy Anniversary all in one...since February 14th is our anniversary. We went to a new place for dinner called Magnolia's in Orefield, PA, (lehigh valley - also known as Magnolia's Vineyard) and had a lovely time and delicious dinner.

These days, the live, laugh. & love sentiment mean a lot more...

On Oldie but Goodie!!

So I have been busy creating, its just that I have not had the opportunity to post...but now that I have gotten my computer all together again (I have a new DELL laptop - my big guy crashed for the last time) - I can show you what I have worked on these past several months. This was a card I made for my daughter Stephanie and her now fiance Ryan. I used an oldie but goodie set called Olive You...mixed some new stuff in and wallah!! This cutie patootie card appeared. I must say, I really love this card. It just makes me smile. So, my friends, whaddya think?

Yo Daddy!

So here is the Father's Day card I made for my Bob...I used the Stampin' Up! set Totally Tool and paper I used was More Mustard, Basic Black, and some water color paper for the tools. I used the "wood" technique taught to me by my up-line Tracy Altemose, who learned it from her BFF Diana Gibbs - one of Stampin' Up!'s 2009 Artisan Award winners!!! Both those gals are WAY talented, let me tell ya! I am lucky to know them both (as well as some other INKredible stampers...). The tools were all done on the water color paper - cut and glued on after the wood dried...white and close to cocoa craft ink were used in the creation of the wood...Bob, my handyman, loved the card...so did everyone else come to think on it! I wished I had done a double layer on the tape measure though...ah well...next time! Enjoy!

My watermark is on the picture of Kris' card for copyright protection...

Gift Wrapping...

I was lucky enough that one of my customers loved the wrapping on the gifts her husband got her from Stampin' Up! (through me) so much that she saved them! Why am I lucky? Because I should have taken a picture of them and posted it AFTER I knew Kris got the gifts....one of my OTD moments (older than dirt- right Wendy?) These are just two of the packages she got...Remember, part of my service in gift giving from "your honey" is that I will gladly wrap the items...so give your wish list to someone and send them on over to me!

The Lucky Leprechaun

So I have seen these cutey pie, die cut peeps everywhere....and I had to get on the bandwagon....and since my name is MAUREEN and I am 1/2 Irish (the other half Scot...don't ask me...ask me grand-parents how THAT happened...both grandmothers Irish - one from Ireland and one second generation - and both my grand-dads were Scottish - one from Scotland, the other second generation...veeerrrrrryyyyyy interesting!!! LOL)..anyway...back to being Irish...and....OH YEAH! my brother's birthday is on St. Patty's day....I GOTTA have a Lucky Leprechaun...not to mention I need good luck these days....so we celebrate the 17th pretty well I must say!! And its the only time you can get any decent soda bread...Panera only makes it for like 4 days!! Harrumph!!! 4 DAYS!! Oh well....can't have everything....wouldn't be too bad if I could cook, maybe I could make it myself (or "meself" if I am really getting into it!!)...Isn't this a dang cute leprechaun?? I like him...maybe its Finian??? LOL

My Valentine's Day Anniversary Card

So here is the card I made my honey for our Valentine's day 16th wedding anniversary...I tell ya, its easier to make than to find a card that says both!! I can't believe its been 16 years...why it seems like only yesterday we were driving to the church in the blizzard the day before the wedding...and then again...its seems like FOREVER!!! LOL The card actually looks better IRL - its the lighting and the angle of the pic...sorry!

Just a showing of November's Stamp-a-Stack

The November Stamp-a-stack was run a little differently...I use my Girls' Night Out to offer many different options of crafting, creating and fun, because at this time (until May) I am diligently working on my doctorate (do you hear the LOUD ticking of that clock?!?!) and am not able to offer specific classes as well as my GNO (other than scheduled workshop/parties). SO - that being said, for this SAS, we made 6 DIFFERENT 3X3 cards, all made using our punches, which I cased from other demo's from one of my demo list-serves ( will be back later to give credit to the fab ladies who share their work with others!). We also made 5 Christmas cards and 4 gift bags. Thus - as always - there were 15 items to go home with. We had a good time creating too! I ran this two nights since the weather was uncooperative and some people are closer than others, to my home....and I know Michelle, LuAnn and I had a great time together that one cold night!! Enjoy....I thought these were stinkin' cute!!
